Lynne Newton

Starting out in local talent shows where Lynne got her first start performing in dance acts at the ripe age of 7, the Midwest native of Kansas City, Missouri knew she wanted to be a performer.

She went on to join her high school drama club, hosting for talent shows, performing dance routines and comedy skits. After high school, she moved to Arizona to attend Phoenix College where she majored in stage craft and stage directing. While at a crossroads in life, Lynne had an epiphany. Feeling that yearning to truly fulfill her potential, Lynne moved to Los Angeles in March of 1997.

She pursued a film acting career full time where she began studying with the Anita Jesse Studios in Hollywood. Lynne began doing background work and student projects. As she became more comfortable with the process of acting, her work in the industry became more noticeable.

In 2012 she won her first Best Actress Award at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival. She went on to win three more Best Actress awards at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood and The Accolade Competition. Most recently, she won the very prestigious Honorary Award for Best Actress at the St. Tropez International Film Festival in France.

Lynne now has over 25 acting film credits to date including a Producer credit. Being a true artist, producing was not something that Lynne had ever considered. She got her first real taste of the other side of film when she was asked to co-produce the film "Fake" which she also starred in.

A partial list of film credits include: Lock Box, Normalcy, The Remake, FAKE, Xmas Evil, Hymen, Mad Mad Michael, Ocean's 7-11, Ray of Sunshine, Bum Rap, Deadly Little Christmas, Thru the Glass, Rattle Basket and last but not least the award winning short Southern dysComfort.
