Jan Johnson Goldberger

Jan is a graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute. As a graduate student she developed her thesis project Shooter. Shooter went on to win the inaugural top prize at the Hatchfest in Bozeman Montana in 2004. Jan is a recipient of a 2003 Women In Film scholarship award. Shooter also won AFI's Martin Ritt award.

In 2005 her short film Stone Mansion was licensed to PBS. Shooter was licensed to HBO in 2004 and ran on that network for two consecutive years. Jan was a participant at the 2006 Tribeca Institute's All Access Connects with her feature project GAME.

Most recently Jan was one of two winners of the 2008 season of Black Entertainment Television's Best Of The Best Shorts. Married to Joe Goldberger - a master drummer and film music composer.
